At your appointments your Physiotherapist:
Will obtain detailed information about you, your injury and your reason for attending Physiotherapy.
Will perform a thorough assessment
Will discuss the findings from the assessment with you
Will perform appropriate treatments
Will educate you and any family members present
Will provide an individualised programme to help you achieve your goals
Physiotherapists can refer on for X-ray, Ultrasound, to Specialists, Surgeons and to other Health care professionals.

Sport specific rehab plans
Your Physiotherapist can develop a sport specific plan for you. Regardless of your injury and the level of sport you want to return to we will address your Pain, Flexibility, Strength, Endurance, Proprioception, Balance, Coordination and Function.
Post-Operative Care
We cater to all patients recovering from musculoskeletal surgeries including foot, ankle, knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, and spinal. We can also help anyone who finds themselves deconditioned after health-related surgeries or postnatally after a C-section.
Integrated Care Pathways (ICP)
Integrated Care Pathway (ICP) was co-designed with ACC to support clients with complex knee, shoulder and lower back conditions. Patients who aren’t improving with normal primary care treatment or have significant injuries (surgical or non-surgical) are eligible for the program if they meet certain criteria.
Foot and Ankle Problems
Ankle sprains and instability, Achilles sprain, Achilles Tendinopathy, Achilles tendon partial tears, Plantarfascii pain, Calf strains, Shin Splints
Joint Replacement Rehab Plans
We will work closely with your surgeon and follow their post- operative protocols to help maximise your outcomes
Vertigo, Dizziness and Headaches
Vertigo, Dizziness and Headaches including BPPV and Vestibular loss. Vestibular rehabilitation includes a full vestibular subjective and objective assessment, and treatment according to the results. Vestibular rehabilitation is scientifically based and has shown to be highly effective in treating vertigo.
Pregnancy and Post-natal Problems
Neck and Back pain, pelvic floor weakness, sciatica, exercise education
Arthritis
Physiotherapy is an important part of treatment for most people with arthritis. Treatment will include a specific exercise programme based on your needs, and pain reduction techniques i.e. manual therapy, taping, and education.
Biomechanical assessments
Your Physiotherapist can assess injury screening and prevention. This includes a series of strength, flexibility, balance and coordination tests to determine areas of weakness that could predispose you to injury. Our assessments include an individualised programme sent via email which includes videos of the exercises you need to work on to help minimise the risk of injury.
Pinc and Steel Childers Cancer Treatment
Rochelle Wardle is trained in Paediatric Cancer Rehab. Our range of programmes are designed to help people through every stage of their treatment and recovery, incorporating individualised physiotherapy rehabilitation and exercise prescription. Paediatric Physiotherapy (Children)
Rochelle Ward works as a Physiotherapist for children in the Public CDHB system and privately at Elite Physiotherapy. Rochelle works with children and adolescents in the 0-16 age group and can assess, treat and care for children with a range of respiratory, developmental, musculoskeletal, neurological and oncology conditions. These include, but are not limited to developmental delays, toe walking, hypermobility, balance and coordination problems, torticollis as well as accidents and injuries.

Please note additional charges for supplies, such as strapping may occur. We also have additional fees for complex, extended appointments.
We offer a Student Discount as well as a discount for Community Services Card Holders.
A late cancellation or no show fee may apply if you fail to give 6hrs notice for missing an appointment.
We have Southern Cross Easy Claim allowing us to submit claims for patients covered by insurance.
